The TrebleMakers are Drexel’s only all-female a cappella group. Founded in 2008 shortly after the start of our brother group, 8 to the Bar, our earliest members saw the fun and camaraderie within the community and sought to create a group that they could participate in. Since our humble beginnings, we’ve continued to improve, find our niche, and make a name for ourselves. With a repertoire featuring songs by The Chainsmokers, T-Pain, and ZEDD, we pride ourselves in our unique, modern, a cappella sound.

We meet at least twice a week in preparation for local gigs and both regional and national a cappella competitions including the ICCAs. Most recently, we placed first at the M&T Bank Invitational Glee: College A Cappella Competition, where our members Damie Juat and Betina Dalope won best soloist.

In the past, we have been invited to the VoiceJam national competition and placed 2nd in VOCALOSITY regional contest. We also perform at other colleges and events, in addition to hosting our own concerts twice a year, inviting other a cappella groups to perform with us.
